The pool and terrace were lovely.
The food was not great, small portions and was overpriced.

Everything: the whole complex, the generous breakfast, having dinner on the porch and the kids having a lot of space to play next to you, so you could see them and enjoy the dinner; the very spacious room; and of course the deer :)
The supplementary bed could be better, more sturdy…

The hotel was in a beautiful old building, with comfy and clean rooms. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The restaurant served delicious food, and the 15-minute walk to the cliffs provided spectacular views. The pool was clean, and the sunbeds were really comfortable. The location was convenient for visiting nearby towns like Santillana del Mar and Comillas. there was a nice little beach with restaurants just a couple of miles away.
The internet was not very fast, but given the beautiful location, it didn't really matter. The rooms could get quite hot without air conditioning, but thankfully there was a lovely pool to cool off in.
